Camera should use up- and left vector instead of quaternion for rotation. It makes calculations like lookAt possible.
Should Camera really be a Transformable? Probably not, it really only shares the positional aspect of a Transformable,
but scaling makes no sense and rotations aren't useful in the sense of a camera.
Generate and plot functions with 2D domain and 1D range and color them using frag shaders.
Perhaps take in a function pointer with signature float(float, float) as well as a boundary box and domain. Use it to
generate the vertices and finally create a mesh
-> Find a way to efficiently update that mesh for if the function changes.
-> The final visualizer will only return functions of signature float(float), which we "append" to the mesh on one edge
to create a moving spectrum of the music. Eventually the old parts of the mesh get pushed out of the bounding box, and
we need to find an efficient way of reconstructing the mesh when that happens. I don't want to have to copy the entire
buffer and insert it a bit earlier into memory, I'd rather have a pointer that can update a row of vertices when we need
it and then cyclicly advance to the next row. Then I need to find a way to generate the indices for that mesh since the
beginning/end of the spectrum can be at any point in the buffer.
Figure out how to have an "inside out" cube with meshed faces. That will serve as the coordinate system for the plot
